Thanks for the link - the tour was indeed loads of fun - how could it not be trying all that fabulous food?

But totally agree that it's also about the people you meet - we also met Juan and Steve on Marie Theres's excellent Montmartre tour (also offered by Context) - very sweet guys.

Do let us all know when your new food site has launched too!

Franca, I'm so sorry! ;)

Kirsten, the chocolate mousse is from Patrice Chapon on the rue du Bac (7th arrondissement). He always has 3-4 different flavors based on the origin of the bean - Madagascar, Cuba, etc. So, so good.

I may have to stop reading this site. It is too, too painful at times. Like now, after reading this and not knowing if or when I'll be able to participate. Excuse while I go lie face-down on my bed and weep.

Hi Nicola,
Absolutely. August is a big time for us and there are plenty of shops that remain open. We can also help you figure out and book the handful of restaurants that are open during those weeks.
Happy planning,
Meg
