Museums across Paris are now closed while union workers try to rumble with the Ministry of Culture. Workers at the Centre Pompidou walked off the job last week, and the strike spread yesterday to dozens of other museums.

    Thanks for the update. I am hoping that the Orangerie and Grand Palais will be open. I also am going to sign up for some context food tours ! I get to Paris on Sunday and hope the strike will be over!

    Yes, the Context Travel food tours are still going when everything else is closed! They’re especially fun during the holiday season when shops are filled with special items. Of course, I’m biased because I lead some of them ;)
