Edible Advent: Dec. 7
Today’s challenge as part of the Edible Advent Calendar:

Can you name this treat?
Leave your answer (product/location) in the comments section below. The reader who has accumulated the most victories by December 24 will receive an edible Christmas present from me. I’ll keep your guesses hidden until the answer is revealed tomorrow on Budget Travel, then I’ll publish the comments and name the winner for this challenge.
YESTERDAY’S WINNERS:
Ding ding ding! Lots of points today for naming “pain des amis” from the lovely Du Pain et des Idées. Bravo to Zeva Bellel, Anne, Sophie (close enough), Theresa and Lil. The full description of this delicious thing will be appearing later today on the Budget Travel Paris Page.

Eclairs from Jacques Genin?
Yummy eclair!
Chocolate eclairs, from Jacques Genin?
Eclair au chocolat, and a rather long one here mmmmmmmmmmm
Eclaire au Chocolat from Jacques Genin? In Canada, they call these Long Johns and those are very, very long johns…
Argh missed yesterdays due to my surgery.
I’ve never actually been there, but shamelessly (shamefully? it’s difficult to tell now) seem to recognise these from an article in a Major French Publication: chocolate eclairs from Génin? I am daunted by the apparent sit-down only policy.
Well, they look like long chocolate eclairs, but I’ve no idea from where. I was hunting around the interwebz just to see what I could find… I’m going to throw out there that they are ones from Gargantua, just because they were mentioned on the ‘net a couple of times.
