Edible Advent: Dec. 13
Today’s challenge as part of the Edible Advent Calendar:

Can you name this treat?
Leave your answer (product/location) in the comments section below (you don’t need to name the exact liquid here). The reader who has accumulated the most victories by December 24 will receive an edible Christmas present from me. I’ll keep your guesses hidden until the answer is revealed tomorrow on Budget Travel, then I’ll publish the comments and name the winner for this challenge.
YESTERDAY’S WINNERS: That was tricky, so very well done Anne, Lil, Sophie, Adam and Jamie Samons for guessing fruitcake. This one comes from the Grenier à Pain in Montmartre and is nothing like the dried out loaf that I remember from childhood. The full description of this delicious thing will be appearing later today on the Budget Travel Paris Page.

Wine flows freely at La Garde Robe.
Ok, ok, I admit to cheating – the alt text says it’s Le Garde Robe. The lovely bartender is serving some red wine, with another glass of white wine sitting in front of him. And a carafe d’eau on the bar too.
A glass of red at the winebar Le Garde Robe!
Natural wine from La Garde Robe. Are cute hipster barmen always included?
eep, 28 minutes past midnight, i hope my stellar guess of wine still counts? perhaps a nice lambrusco?
