Edible Advent: Dec. 12
Today’s challenge as part of the Edible Advent Calendar:

Can you name this treat?
Leave your answer (product/location) in the comments section below. This one is difficult, so wild stabs in the dark will be accepted and rewarded. The reader who has accumulated the most victories by December 24 will receive an edible Christmas present from me. I’ll keep your guesses hidden until the answer is revealed tomorrow on Budget Travel, then I’ll publish the comments and name the winner for this challenge.
YESTERDAY’S WINNERS: Ding-ding-ding! Lots of points to spread among those who correctly named the pizza box from Pink Flamingo. Well done Sharon Bowman, Janet, Zeva Bellel, Phyllis, Lil, adrian, Chrisos, laura, Jamie Samons, Sophie, Anne, Karin, and Kelaine. Adam gets an extra half point for being a smart-ass and calling Matt Gross (who wrote this about that pizzas) Moby. That’s right, people: points for jokes. Remember that when you’re stumped.
The full description of this delicious thing will be appearing later today on the Budget Travel Paris Page.

Never met a candied fruit I liked but these fruitcakes look pretty yummy. From Le Grenier a Pain in Montmartre. It’s going to take me more than the days of advent to catch up with all these bakeries! Thanks for sharing.

That’s some real fancy fruity cake (with mini chocolat eggs) from Le Grenier à Pain but I can’t recall the name. And since I’m currently in Dublin, I can’t exactly hike it to Montmartre to check nor to buy one, gnom gnom gnom…

that looks like a very unappetizing fruitcake.

Fruitcake from Le Grenier a Pain. So festive!

The Alt text says Le Grenier à Pain, but I’m not sure where that is. These are almost certainly some kind of ‘Easter’ cakes, but they actually look rather sickly.
