The Edible Advent Calendar
Paris is expensive – especially for those converting dollars to pay for their three course restaurant meals – but it’s also filled with small wonders of deliciousness that cost hardly anything at all.
To share this bounty and celebrate the season, I’ve created an Edible Advent Calendar. As with the paper version that I loved opening as a child, this calendar will reveal a new treat on every morning leading up to Christmas day. Each surprise will be edible and obtainable for less than 10€. Only my favorite Paris tastes will make the cut.
This calendar will be published daily at Budget Travel. But for readers of this blog, I’m going to publish a teaser photo one day early – without address or explanation – and ask you to name that treat. The reader who has accumulated the most victories at the end of the month will receive an edible Christmas present from me. Are you ready to put your gluttonous credentials to the test? We begin today.
