Well Played, Nuit Blanche
Dear (Nuit) Blanche,
Despite my earlier reservations, I had a lovely and surprising time with you last night in the Buttes Chaumont. I was enchanted (admittedly tipsy) by your transformation of the park’s dark waters, shaggy hills, and green lawns. Draped in moonlight and a thousand lamps, I hardly recognized these places where my dog used to pee.
Thanks also for locating yourself in the 19th, on the path home from a friend’s wedding celebration. Contemporary art has never been more convenient.
